Admission Procedure
For admissions to Dugapur Public School, parents or guardians are requested to contact the Admissions Officer at the campus by phone Monday to Friday during office hours except during national / state holidays and weekends to know the details of student admission. An application for registration is the first stage of the admission procedure. However, registration of a child is not a guarantee of his / her admission. A registration fee is to be paid and sent along with the application so that the child may be registered for the year and class for which admission is sought. The fee is neither refundable nor adjustable and is valid only for the particular or specified academic year. The school reserves the right of admission and the authority’s decision on the matter will be final and binding. Registration Form downloaded from our website can be sent along with a Demand Draft towards registration in favour of Durgapur Public School to enable us to register your ward’s name for admission…
- Candidates for admission need not appear for any entrance exam but may generally be required to sit for the school’s prescribed Academic Proficiency Evaluation to help the Admissions Panel decide on the class suitability of the candidate. A formal meeting with parents in the presence of the student is likewise necessary.
- Admission requisites are kept at a minimal. For admissions to Nursery, the learner has to be 3 years or above by the 1st March of the year of admission while admissions to Kindergarten will be based only on a formal meeting with the parents or guardians. But in all cases a Birth Certificate, and a Transfer Certificate wherever applicable from the school previously attended are a must.
